The mouth and the gut are one microbial system — and that system is living in whatever a person is carrying: mycotoxins, heavy metals, PFAS, pesticides. Most workups look at one of those things at a time. I teach the biology, the testing, and the sequencing that changes what you do on Monday.
Everything I do now started in the mouth. It kept raising questions that dentistry alone couldn't answer — so I followed them out of the chair.
I trained and practiced as a periodontist, oral surgeon, and implantologist. Then I stopped — not because I lost interest in the mouth, but because I'd stopped believing the chair was where the problem was being solved. I retrained as a naturopathic physician and moved into microbiome science and toxicology, which is where I work now.
Today I'm co-founder and Lead Scientist at DetoxU, where I built a sequencing framework around a single principle — support drainage pathways before mobilizing anything — and an in-house lab that measures what people are actually carrying: mycotoxins, heavy metals, PFAS, pesticides. I sit on the medical advisory boards of Microbiome Labs and Berkeley Life. I teach internationally.
What I teach isn't a philosophy. It's mechanism, assays, reference ranges, sequencing, and the specific places where standard interpretation gets it wrong.

Payment and cancellation. Consultation fees are payable in full at the time of booking. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least three business days’ notice are refunded in full or moved at no cost. Cancellations and reschedules made inside that window incur a $100 fee, with the balance refunded. Sessions missed without notice are charged in full.
Laboratory testing. Discussion of laboratory analysis is educational. Interpretation of any test is the responsibility of the ordering licensed clinician. Testing referenced in these materials is not offered as a diagnostic service through this website.
